Mission Statement

At Fulcrum DRC, we are dedicated to educating teens and youth, in 7th-12th grade, about the critical issue of sexual exploitation. We created SAVE ONE to educate students on essential topics such as online safety, the dangers of child sex trafficking, and the tactics used in grooming. We aim to empower young people with the knowledge and awareness they need to recognize and protect themselves and others from these threats.

Course Objectives

1. The purpose of this course is to empower youth ages 12-18 with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to understand, identify, and navigate issues related to sexual exploitation.
2. This course aims to educate participants about the definitions, laws, and dynamics surrounding sexual exploitation, including grooming, consent, online safety, and child sex trafficking. By distinguishing between healthy and unhealthy relationships, recognizing various forms of violence and manipulation, and understanding the impact of societal and peer influences, students will be better equipped to protect themselves and others.
3. The course also provides crucial information on resources and support systems, enabling students to seek help and advocate for their safety and well-being effectively.
